Free.ca respects the privacy of its subscribers. This Privacy Policy describes how Free.ca collects, uses and discloses personal information for the purpose of operating contests and providing information about third party products and services to subscribers. Collection and use of personal information

This may include ID validation for anti-money laundering, anti-fraud, preventing crime, asset recovery, debt collection and reuniting people with unclaimed assets. Advertising - providing offers that are relevant to you. This may involve data analysis, matching, profiling and predicting behaviours so you may receive advertising that is more relevant to you. Our site also uses "cookies", which are text files placed in your internet browser that contain non-identifying information, such as internet protocol (IP) addresses and browsing behaviour. Aggregated, non-personal information is shared with advertisers to assist in purchasing decisions and to analyze results from advertising campaigns. Our website and the emails that we send provide links to third-party websites. Also, our site may allow you to subscribe to receive offers directly from third-party companies in addition to Free.ca. Advertising Networks
To advertisers and advertising networks that require the information to select and serve relevant advertisements to you and others. We do not disclose data about identifiable individuals to advertisers, but we may provide them with aggregate information. We may also use such aggregate information to help advertisers target a specific audience (for example, men in a specific location). Security
Free.ca has in place administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect the security of your personal information, including the following:

- Servers are located in a physically controlled area;
- Data is transferred over an encrypted connection; and
- Systems are regularly tested for security vulnerabilities and updated as necessary.
We transfer and store personal information on servers located outside of Canada. As such, we may be required to provide law enforcement agencies in foreign jurisdictions with access to personal information. 9. YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
California residents have the privacy rights listed below. The rights listed below under the California Consumer Privacy Act and Shine the Light are not the same. To exercise your rights, you will need to follow the directions below that are specific to each law.
CALIFORNIA CONSUMER PRIVACY ACT
Request to Know. You have the right to request to know: (i) the specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you; (ii) the categories of Personal Information we have collected about you in the last 12 months; (iii) the categories of sources from which that Personal Information was collected; (iv) the categories of your Personal Information that we sold or disclosed in the last 12 months; (v) the categories of third parties to whom your Personal Information was sold or disclosed in the last 12 months; and (vi) the purpose for collecting and selling your Personal Information. You may exercise your right to request to know twice a year, free of charge.
Please note, in response to a request to know, we are prohibited from disclosing your Social Security number, driver’s license number or other government-issued identification number, financial account number, any health insurance or medical identification number, an account password or security questions and answers.
